Strategic Planning Workshop for CDBG Funds

 

The City invites all community members to participate in the October 22, 2014 planning workshop to discuss the Community Development Block Grant & Other Housing and Community Development needs in the City of Alameda. The Community Outreach Five-Year Strategic Planning Workshop will be held:

As an entitlement jurisdiction, the City of Alameda receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Every five years, the City is required to prepare a Five-Year Strategic Plan, which outlines the Housing and Community Development priority needs that will inform CDBG and other Housing and Community Development funding decisions for the upcoming five-year period (July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2020). This is an opportunity for Alameda residents, service providers, and advocates in our community to participate and provide input on the needs in our community.
