ALAMEDA WALKS – 2018 Schedule
All walks begin at 9:00 A.M. and last approximately one hour. Where walks are longer, it will be noted and new walks are indicated. Look for the red Alameda Walks hats! While we love the furry pets, we prefer that they wait for you at home.
September 8 - Bay Farm's Destroyers *UPDATED*
Meet at Tillman Park, 2220 Aughinbaugh Way near the Gazebo. Explore and discover how World War I era ships were resued as breakwaters turning Bay Farm Island's swamps into dry land. In addition, the walk will visit the former location of the Mecartney family homestead. Dennis Evanosky and Eric Kos will lead this walk. Note: Walk lasts 1 hour, 15 minutes
