Bring your friends, family and bikes to the 5th Alameda Bike Festival & Rodeo.
The day will begin with a Family Cycling Workshop at 9:30 and Learn to Ride class beginning at 10:00 am, with the festival from 12-4pm.
This day of bicycle celebration and education will encourage and promote safe bicycling in Alameda, and bring the community together on bikes in to celebrate Bike Month.
Festival activities include, free bicycle tune-ups with the BikeMobile, a Bike Rodeo to practice skills and drills, a helmet and bicycle decoration station, helmet fittings and giveaways, bike blended smoothies, bicycle inspired entertainment, a cargo bike demo station, a bicycle Trivia Wheel, taco truck, free raffle prizes, and a whole lot more to inspire, educate and encourage bicycle riding in Alameda. An AC Transit demo bike rack will be onsite for families to learn how to use the bus bike racks.
This festival is a project of Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools, the Alameda Safe Routes to School Task Force in partnership with Alameda Unified School District, Alameda Recreation and Park Department, City of Alameda, Kiwanis Club of Alameda and the Alameda Elks Lodge.
