ALAMEDA POINT CLEAN UP DAY!
Join us for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
On Saturday, January 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, the City of Alameda Public Works Department’s Clean Water Program, in collaboration with Alameda Point Partners, is sponsoring a litter cleanup day at Alameda Point. Join us for an easy and fun way for everyone to help conserve the environment, our precious wildlife and making Alameda beautiful.
To participate, volunteers need to pre-register for the event at http://alameda-mlk-shoreline-cleanup.eventbrite.com. Meet at the shoreline parking lot on Main Street, west of the dog park. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring your own reusable bucket or bag and work gloves. The event will be followed by refreshments and snacks.
