The City Council is soliciting applications from residents or students attending school within the City between the ages of 14 and 18 who would like to serve on the Youth Advisory Commission.
The Youth Advisory Commission meets the second Tuesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. in City Hall, Conference Room 360. The Commission was established to provide City policymakers with the unique perspective of the community’s youth on municipal issues and matters of concern to young people, to provide a forum for discussion regarding how the City can better serve its youth, and to encourage participation of youth in local government.
Application forms may be obtained from the City Clerk, City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, Room 380, via the City’s website or by telephoning the Office of the City Clerk at 747-4800.
Interested persons are encouraged to submit an application to the Office of the City Clerk by Thursday, December 5, 2013.
