Alameda, CA – After an extensive investigation, members of the Alameda Police Department arrested a 17-year old male Tuesday afternoon for 5 “hot prowl” burglaries and a sexual assault of a juvenile.  The incidents occurred between June 16, 2015 and August 9, 2015.
 

The suspect is an Alameda resident and was initially arrested for two counts of burglary and the sexual assault of a minor.  As of Wednesday morning, Alameda police detectives have linked the suspect to 5 “hot prowl” burglaries.  Detectives are continuing to piece together several other cases from Alameda which may involve the suspect.

“We appreciate the diligent efforts of our police department and the vigilance of our community,” stated Mayor Trish Spencer.
