Take A Hike*

*With the Alameda Free Library

Would you like to take advantage of the great parks and wilderness areas available in the San Francisco Bay Area, but need more information?

The Alameda Free Library wants to help you explore our area parks by offering a day-pack filled with trail guides, binoculars, information and activities. You may request the Libraries Outside pack at the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the Main Library, 1550 Oak St. Alameda. All you need is your Library Card.

This is a pilot project. Because it is a pilot project, the pack is only available for a one-week checkout. We also ask that you please fill out a short evaluation when you return the pack to the Check-Out Desk. This will help us decide if we want to create more packs, and what to include or leave out. We appreciate your help.

Enjoy the great outdoors! For questions or for more information, please contact the Alameda Free Library at 510-747-7713 or alamedafree@gmail.com
