The Alameda Free Library will host a Networking for Job Seekers Workshop on Wednesday, April 15th from 6:00—7:45 pm at the Main Library, 1550 Oak St. The workshop will be presented by Jean Rowland, Career Counselor at the Alameda One-Stop Career Center.

This free workshop will cover the “true” definition of networking; networking opportunities; principals and etiquette of networking; using social media; and establishing a networking plan. Participants will learn how to: identify and maintain their current network; develop networking contacts; keep good records; and utilize effective follow up strategies.
