The Oakland International Airport has moved the planned Phase 5 transition for Runway 1230 to today, February 11th from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm due to weather over the weekend. As this phase change requires closure of Runway 1230, air carrier operations will utilize North Field during this time. Once the runway has reopened, normal flight patterns are expected to resume as the instrument approaches to Runway 30 will be back in service.
