Alameda Free Library to host a Free Résumé Workshop,

The Alameda Free Library will host a resume workshop on Wednesday, January 21st from 6:00—7:45 pm at the Main Library, 1550 Oak St. Alameda. The workshop will be presented by Jean Rowland, Career Counselor at the Alameda One-Stop Career Center.
Would you like to create a more effective résumé that highlights your skills and qualifications? This workshop will cover the basics of résumé writing: purpose, format, effective content, and how to target your résumé to specific jobs. Bring your current résumé, as well as any job descriptions you are interested in.
