On January 24, 2015 at 3 pm, local author Donna Marie Ferro will share from her new book Italy, the Embracing Circle. Ms. Ferro’s book has been hailed as “the real dolce vita” and a “rediscovery of family and roots”. This event will be in the Stafford Community Rooms at the Main Library, 1550 Oak St.
Donna Marie’s grandparents immigrated to America, and lived in Alameda on Bay Farm Island where her father was born. This is a local story as well as an international one and is told in such a joyous, conversational style it makes for a quick and easy read.
Join the author as she reads selections from the book and thrills you with her loves. She will be available for questions and will have books for purchase as well. If you already have a copy, she’ll happily sign it for you.
