Community Outreach Needs Survey for FY16-17 CDBG Action Plan
The City invites all community members to participate in a survey to identify Community Development Block Grant and other Housing and Community Development needs in the City of Alameda for the upcoming July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017 period.
This is an opportunity for Alameda residents, service providers, and advocates in our community to participate and provide input on the needs in our community. The Community Needs Survey is available online at:

The City of Alameda is an entitlement recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CDBG finances programs and activities that benefit low- and moderate-income persons and households (80% Area Median Income and below), while helping prevent or eliminate slums and blight. To receive CDBG funding, the City must address the housing and community development needs identified in the Five-Year Strategic Plan for the period of July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2020.
