High Street Bridge Closure Hours Extended
ALAMEDA COUNTY - The High Street Bridge closure hours will be extended to 8:30 p.m. beginning November 19, 2015 to enable timely completion of bridge repairs.
The High Street Bridge will now be CLOSED to all vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., through November 25, 2015. There will also be some limitations to marine traffic. The U.S. Coast Guard will communicate this information in its weekly "Coast Guard Local Notices to Mariners."
Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the bridge closure. When travelling through the detour areas, motorists are advised to exercise caution and adhere to all traffic regulations.
