City of Alameda Launches #LoveOurIsland Photo Contest
Show your love of the island captured in a photograph
WHAT: The #LoveOurIsland photo contest is launching with a Cuisine theme. To participate, take a picture of yummy island food, colorful fresh ingredients, or a beautiful setting, and post it on social media using the #loveourisland hashtag.
WHEN: The #LoveOurIsland photo contest will begin Tuesday, October 25 and run for one week, ending Tuesday, November 1.
All entries will be uploaded to a Facebook album and posted on the City’s Facebook page. As people are getting ready to vote on Election Day, photo contest voting will take place from Thursday, November 3 through Tuesday, November 8.
The photo with the most likes will be featured on the City’s Facebook page and will win a month’s supply of #LoveOurIsland stenciled sourdough bread from Feel Good Bakery.
HOW TO ENTER: If you have a camera or a phone, you can enter!

· Share it on using the hashtag #loveourisland

HOW TO VOTE: View the Contest album on the City’s Facebook page from November 3 to November 8. Every like is a vote. The photo with the most likes wins.
