The Building Department office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Please note the Permit Center closes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays for staff training.
The Building Inspectors are only in the office to schedule Building Inspections between 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. To schedule an inspection, please call (510) 747-6830 at least two days in advance of desired inspection date.
Please note City Hall is closed on Fridays and all legal holidays.
