Alameda Free Library to Host Coffee Cup Art Program

What can you make from a paper coffee cup?  Join us and challenge yourself to draw, paint, cut, alter, or destroy a 12 oz. paper coffee cup to create a new work of art.

On Monday, September 19, 2016 from 6:00-7:45 PM, the Alameda Free Library will host a Coffee Cup Art night for teens and adults, ages 13+, at the Main Library on 1550 Oak Street. Each participant in this craft program will be given paper coffee cups and the freedom to create. The completed coffee cup art pieces will be displayed in the library after the event.

We will supply the coffee cups, markers, paint, and other craft supplies you’ll need to “espresso” yourself! Artistic abilities and skills are not necessary and no registration is required. Join us at this no-pressure event to create your own coffee cup masterpiece. We’ll have a “latte” fun!

Please call the Main Library Reference Desk at 510-747-7713 with any questions.
