Made In Alameda: A Local Showcase

Do you love all things Alameda? So do we, and we want to give you a chance to show off what makes you (and our island) so special!

The Friends of the Alameda Free Library are sponsoring the Made In Alameda Showcase on Saturday, March 18, 2017, from 12-5 pm at the Main Library, 1550 Oak Street, Alameda.

If you are a local author, artist, crafter, or DIYer and would like to be part of this local showcase, please fill in the application form located at this link: Made In Alameda. The application can also be accessed from the Main Library webpage. Tables will be available to showcase your work. Additionally, if you want to be part of a panel discussion, book talk, or show a DIY skill, please note that on the application. All works/products must be created by Alameda residents. Applications will be accepted up until 5 pm on February 3, 2017. More information is available on the application.

We know how creative Alamedans are and we expect to receive more applications than we have space. Due to room size constraints, we may not be able to accept every application. The Library reserves the right to determine which applications are granted in order to present as balanced a selection as possible.

If you would like more information about this event, please email us at alamedafree@gmail.com and put Made In Alameda in the subject line.
