Erected in 1897, the Meyers House is a pristine example of Colonial Revival. The house, which contains many of the original owner's furnishings, and grounds were bequeathed to the City of Alameda for use as a house museum and passive park. The Mission style Meyers studio was completed in 1935 and recently rejuvenated.
