The City of Alameda is soliciting bids for the Alameda South Shore Lagoon Dredging Project, No. P.W. 11-13-26. Work consists of some dredging, excavating, hauling, and disposing of approximately 4,389 CY base bid plus 3,800 CY additive alternate dredged material from up to 28 separate sites within the five-lagoon system in Alameda. Dredging will be via mechanical/excavator dredge with placement of the material into barge mounted scows for dewatering. The material will then be loaded onto trucks and hauled to an upland site on Alameda Point.
Paper copies of the Plans and Specifications can be obtained from BPXpress Reprographics located at 4903 Central Avenue, Richmond, CA 94804 for a non-refundable cost $60 dollars for a set of plans and specifications. Plans are 12” x 18” color. Shipping and handling are extra, depending on the delivery method. Electronic copies of the documents are also available for a non-refundable cost of $25 per set.
