Two Taxi Programs for the City of Alameda Paratransit Program

The City of Alameda is requesting proposals from qualified Providers to run two Taxi Programs for the City of Alameda Paratransit Program.  The City desires to obtain the services of an outside Provider to run the Premium Taxi Program serving those 70 and older or enrolled with East Bay Paratransit and the Medical Return Trip Improvement Program (MRTIP) serving those enrolled with East Bay Paratransit.  Attached is the request for proposal.  All questions are due in advance of the proposal due date and should be emailed to the above contacts. Responses will be emailed to all interested parties. Please respond with the agency's current contact person's name, title, web address, mailing address, phone number and email address.  Measures B and BB, the Alameda County one-cent sales tax for transportation, provide a dedicated funding source to local jurisdictions for non-mandated, locally based paratransit services for individuals with disabilities and for seniors, which are not required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
