The Public Works Department is requesting proposals from organizations for On-Call Annual Environmental Services for the City of Alameda. Desirable qualities include expertise with impacts on flora, fauna, water quality, air quality, and historic resources; ability to produce CEQA categorical exclusions, initial studies, and draft mitigated negative delcarations; and familiarity with processing BCDC, Corps, and similar permits. Through this RFP, the City is seeking to identify qualified firms for annual on-call contracts. The City may choose to enter into a contract that can be renewed yearly for up to four more years.

The responses to the RFP are due on May 22, 2017 by 2 p.m. to the Public Works Department, 950 W. Mall Square #110, Alameda, CA 94501, to the attention of Laurie Kozisek.
Please note that the Alameda City Council encourages all consultants and other businesses providing services to the City to hire Alameda residents, pursuant to City Resolution 12278. "The City of Alameda is a charter City and any contracts into which the City enters may be subject to the provisions of its charter, which may supersede certain provision of the Public Contract Code and other provisions of state law."
