The City of Alameda is requesting proposals from qualified Providers to implement Bicycle Safety Education programs at four schools and also citywide in the City of Alameda, over the course of two years. The program has three key components: (1) bicycle safety education classes and workshops for adults, teens and families; (2) bicycle safety education programs in four schools; and (3) bicycle safety education events targeted to low-income and previously homeless students. This project is federally funded through California’s Active Transportation Program (ATP) grant program, administered by Caltrans.
