The City of Alameda Fire Department was selected to participate in a pilot study to develop one of the very first Community Paramedic Programs in the State of California. Our Firefighter/Paramedics have been educated in accordance with a national curriculum provided through the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine.
