The City of Alameda is soliciting bids for Shore Line Drive,Westline Drive Bikeway Improvements. Scopeof work for this project includes, but not limited to: removing existing thermoplastic and paint traffic stripes,markings and markers, traffic signs and poles, street pavement sections uprooted by street trees, concrete curb, street tree, and installation of new thermoplastic traffic striping, markings and markers, traffic signs and poles, rubber wheel stops, traffic delinators, bicycle racks, constructing concrete traffic islands, concrete bus stop islands, a drainage channel, handicap ramps, reconstruction of tree root uprooted asphalt concrete pavement, mobilization, traffic control, and planting two trees.
The proposal must be presented to the Public Works Department, City Hall West, 950 West Mall Square, Room 110, Alameda, California, under sealed cover, plainly marked on the outside "Shore Line Drive, Westline Drive Bikeway Improvements, No. P.W. 07-13-21, Federal Aid Project No: HSIPL 5014(037) no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, My 15, 2014.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at City Hall West, 950 West Mall Square, Room 156, Alameda, California, on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. The Mandatory prebid meeting must be attended.
