The City of Alameda is requesting proposals from transportation consultants to prepare the Citywide Transit Plan and Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Plan (attached). The Consultant Team must include expertise in transportation planning, transit operations and infrastructure, TDM coordination and implementation, familiarity with the City of Alameda and community outreach and consensus building. The City will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, disability or national origin in the contract award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals at its discretion, thus not awarding the contract to any firm.

Submittals shall be clearly marked on the outside cover or envelope "Response to Request for Proposals: Citywide Transit and Transportation Demand Management Plans."
Process: A non-mandatory, pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, September 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Conference Room 360 at Alameda City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, 3rd Floor, Alameda, CA. Based upon the submitted proposals on October 22 by 3 p.m., the selection team will interview selected Consultant Teams, which are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, 2015. The City intends to complete contract negotiations with the selected Consultant Team so that the Consultant Team can commence work in January 2016. The Consultant Team is expected to complete the plans by July 2017.
