The City of Alameda is Solicitating bids for the Park Street Pedestrian Safety Improvements Project, No. P.W. 06-13-18, Federal Aid Project No: TCSPL-5014(040).
General work description: The work shall generally consist of furnishing all the labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to construct and complete in an efficient, operative, and workmanlike manner the installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at the Park Street/Pacific Avenue intersection, and traffic signal modifications at the Park Street/Lincoln Avenue/Tilden Way and Park Street/Buena Vista Avenue intersections.
The project scope of work includes, but not limited to, the installation of RRFB, reducing curb radius, installing new traffic signal poles, striping new crosswalks, installing pedestrian signals and ADA compliant accessibility ramps, install new audible pedestrian push buttons, and installing bulb-outs.
Plans, specifications, and proposal forms for bidding this project can only be obtained at City Hall West, Public Works Department, 950 W. Mall Square, Room 110, Alameda, CA 94501 for a:
NONREFUNDABLE FEE OF $75.00 PER SET

Payment must be in the exact amount in either cash or check. Make checks payable to City of Alameda.
The proposal must be presented to the Public Works Department, City Hall West, 950 West Mall Square, Room 110, Alameda, California, under sealed cover, plainly marked on the outside “PARK STREET PEDESTRIAN SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS, No. P.W. 06-13-18, Federal Aid Project No: TCSPL-5014(040)" not later than 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2016.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at City Hall West, 950 W. Mall Square, Room 156, Alameda, California, 94501, on Tuesday, February 23, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. The mandatory prebid meeting must be attended. The City reserves the right to hold additional prebid meetings as necessary.
