The City of Alameda Public Works Department invites proposals for construction management and inspection services for the Lagoon Seawall Trunk Sewer Replacement Project. The project includes the abandonment and relocation of existing sanitary sewer mains that run underneath existing residential properties, and predate the construciton of the homes. The project also entails the removal of the sewer main that currently is located on the face of the lagoon seawall, running between Paru and Bay Streets, the replacement of the Paru Street pump station and associated force main, extension of a sewer main at the foot of Hawthorne Street, and installation of three private ejector pumps to serve the properties at the foot of Sherman Street.
