The City is seeking telephone and onsite interpretation and translation services on an as-needed basis for the Community Development Department. Though interpretation services will be needed primarily during City office hours (Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Pacific time), services shall be available 24 hours per day, seven days a week, 365 days per year for special cases. The predominant languages include Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish and Tagalog; however, the need for interpretation services in other languages may be required. Experience with technical interpretation and translation related to construction, planning and permitting, and engineering is preferred.
