The City of Alameda (City) Public Works Department, in coordination with the City's Base Reuse Department, invites qualified civil engineering firms to submit a proposal for phased infrastructure design services in the Reuse Area of Alameda Point. The winning firm should have experience in the design of large-scale land development projects, urban infill projects as well as extensive street, water, storm, sewer, dry utilities, and other infrastructure design project experience with a preference for base reuse experience. The selected firm will be charged with preparing construction documents for backbone improvements in challenging conditions, with the primary goal of achieving design efficiency to contain costs for this project. Successful cost containment is critical to the financial feasibility of this project.
