The City of Alameda will receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 for the Krusi Park Renovations, No. P.W. 05-16-10. Bids must be presented to Jack Dybas, Project Manager II, City of Alameda Public Works Department, 950 West Mall Square, Room 110, Alameda, CA 94501, under sealed cover, plainly marked on the outside as follows: "CITY OF ALAMEDA - SEALED BID FOR Krusi Park Renovations, NO. P.W. 05-16-10." (Bids will be received and stamped in Room 110 and opened in Room 156).
The Work for the Krusi Park Renovations Project includes the following:
Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, testing, permits, temporary controls and construction facilities, and all general conditions, general requirements and incidentals required to complete the Krusi Park Renovations Project as generally described below:
Partial Site Demolition and Improvements, including demolition, complete removal, off-haul and replacement of an existing outdated ARPD park recreational building at Krusi Park. Existing (+/- 1,000 SF single story wood-frame) building to be replaced with a new fully functioning modular premanufactured recreational building – preferably designed, engineered and built off-site. New +/- 2,045 SF building to include an Office, Multipurpose Room, Restrooms, Storage, Kitchen (light food prep.), MEP closets, and Custodial Rm. Work to include required demolition, modifications and/or improvements to site, finish grading, utilities and/or infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, domestic, fire and landscape irrigation water utilities, to accommodate function, use and full ADA accessibility of new modular premanufactured building. Work also includes providing an additional offsite disabled parking stall and pedestrian ramp, new emergency vehicle access (EVA), new fire hydrant, automatic fire sprinklers and manual fire alarms for new building, and necessary modifications or revisions to existing site, site furnishings, topography, finish grading, and/or landscape features.
