The City invites bids for the Krusi Park Renovations. The work generally includes: site work and a park building, including dust and noise control, demolition, tree and plant protection, staking, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, trenching, site preparation, erosion control, subgrade preparation, park paths, furnishings, grading, drainage, planting, irrigation, park entry renovations, and utility improvements. The park building work generally includes utility connections, foundation, concrete, masonry, metals, wood and plastic, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, plumbing and electrical. The project duration is approximately three hundred and sixty five (365) calendar days from the project commencement date specified in the notice to proceed for the project.
All of the work is to be done in accordance with the bid packages on file with the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department, 2226 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda, California 94501, and at the locations specified below. Requests for bid packages should be directed to: ARC (American Reprographics Company) 1700 Jefferson St, Oakland, CA 94612, (510) 287-5485. The Contractor is responsible for paying for the plans, specifications, and the proposal forms. Payment must be made by the Contractor to ARC. Bid packages will be produced and mailed to the contractor by ARC upon request and receipt of the non-refundable payment, and the bidder’s UPS or FedEx account number.
