Community Meeting to Improve Pedestrian Safety

Community Discussion to Improve Pedestrian Safety Along Park Street at Lincoln and Buena Vista Avenues

The Public Works Department invites you to the second community meeting to discuss ways to improve pedestrian safety at the intersections of Park Street at Lincoln Avenue and Park Street at Buena Vista Avenue.  Recently approved commercial developments at these locations are expected to significantly increase the number of pedestrians using these crosswalks.  The City is considering using a $280,000 federal grant to construct improvements to make it easier for pedestrians to cross.  The community’s input from this meeting will be used to develop the new intersection designs.
