Presenting smart meters
October 13, 2014 Press Release
Park with one easy swipe. Presenting new smart meters in Alameda.
The City of Alameda is installing 42 new parking meters that accept credit cards and coins in Webster Street between Haight Avenue and Santa Clara Avenue and Park Street between Santa Clara Avenue and Central Avenue to provide more payment options for customers. These new smart meters are solar powered and help reduce our carbon footprint, while providing valuable data for the City to evaluate future parking needs.
