Public Works staff invites you to participate in the Clement Avenue Complete Street Concept Proposal, which pertains to the area between Grand Street and Broadway. Potential improvements may include removing the abandoned railroad tracks, installing a bikeway, and enhancing pedestrian access. There are many ways to participate, which include:
Attend Community Workshops: The first community workshop is on Wednesday, January 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Library's Stafford Room. Tentative dates for the additional community workshops are Monday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m.
Use On-Line Open Forum: Participate in a convenient online forum for civic engagement at the following web page: http://alamedaca.gov/public-works/open-forum Read what others are saying about the Clement Avenue Concept Plan, and then post your own ideas or comments. Staff will incorporate them into the decision process.
