Sensory Friendly Family Films at the Alameda Free Library

The Alameda Free Library continues its Sensory Friendly Family Film series with the film Boss Baby on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 2:00 pm in the Main Library’s Regina K Stafford Meeting Room at 1550 Oak Street.

Sensory Friendly Family Films give individuals with sensory sensitivities an opportunity to enjoy movies in a safe and accepting environment. The movies are family friendly and appropriate for all ages. The lights are dimmed, the volume is lowered, and individuals are welcome to move around and make noise.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Friends of the Alameda Free Library, the Sensory Friendly Family Film program is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. Boss Baby is 97 minutes long and is rated PG for some mild rude humor. Individuals with special dietary needs are welcome to bring their own snacks. Water only, please.

Alameda Free Library is wheelchair accessible. The Main Library is served by AC Transit routes 21 and 51A. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library. For more information on this and other library programs, visit http://alamedaca.evanced.info/signup/Calendar or contact the Children’s Department at (510) 747-7705.
