Purpose

To promote the educational, cultural, and economic welfare of the City by preserving and protecting historical resources that serve as visible reminders of the history and heritage of Alameda.

First Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

 

How to Become a Member
There are currently no vacancies on this Board.  The City accepts applications on an on-going basis in the event a vacancy becomes available. To apply, download and complete an application form and submit it to the City Clerk's office.  Applicants will not be contacted unless a vacancy becomes available and the applicant is being considered for nomination.  Additional information on the application and appointment process is available here.
