NEW -- Homeless Report
Purpose
To assess and report to the City Council the social service needs of the people of Alameda and to encourage the formation of private social welfare organizations to serve unmet needs. The SSHRB was established in the City Charter.
Regular Meeting Schedule
Fourth Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers (with the exception of Nov and Dec where there is a combined meeting which will be held Thursday, November 29, in the City Council Chambers).
How to Become a Member
To apply, download and complete an application form and submit it to the City Clerk's office. Additional information on the application and appointment process is available here.
