The Library Talks with Fantasy Author Patrick Rothfuss

Alameda Free Library is proud to welcome a live streaming visit by New York Times bestselling author Patrick Rothfuss on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 6:30 PM.  Patrick will join us via live video chat for a conversation about his blockbuster fantasy series, the Kingkiller Chronicle. There will also be an opportunity for a Q&A from the audience.

Patrick's first novel, The Name of the Wind, was a 2007 Quill Award winner and a Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year. Its sequel, The Wise Man's Fear, debuted at #1 on The New York Times bestseller chart and won the David Gemmell Legend Award. His novels have also appeared on NPR’s Top 100 Science Fiction/Fantasy Books list and Locus’ Best 21st Century Fantasy Fiction Novels list.  Lionsgate recently won a bidding war to adapt his bestselling series into a TV show and movie.

This event will be held at the Main Library, 1550 Oak St. Alameda. For questions etc., please contact the Reference Desk at 510-747-7713.
