Alameda Free Library to host “Bad” Art program for Adults
Are you an artist? Are you creative? If the answer to either of those questions is no, then you may be a Bad Artist.
On Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 1:30-4:00 PM, the Alameda Free Library will host a Bad Art program for adults at the Main Library, 1550 Oak St.
We will supply feathers, glitter, rhinestones, and recycled materials to help you bring out your inner Artist. Artistic abilities and skills are not necessary, but we hope you’ll bring a willingness to try and a sense of humor. Come create art to the best of your ability, while enjoying refreshments and meeting new people. At this no-pressure event, we hope you’ll leave your worries about good taste at home and do your best “bad” work. The final pieces will be displayed so others can enjoy your works of art.
This program is part of “Made in Alameda”, an initiative that aims to engage adults socially and intellectually while reinforcing a sense of community and pride in Alameda.
Please call the Main Library Reference Desk at 510-747-7713 for any questions.
