Stop Playing Candyland!
Are your kids’ old board games driving you crazy? Come join the Alameda Board Gamers as we introduce you to board games that you and your child will want to play again and again.
Playing board games with your kids is a fun way to get them learning and can build sportsmanship and patience. But that doesn't mean you should have to play boring games. There is a wide world of great kid’s games available.
We will introduce you to several different games for kids of all ages, and then demonstrate and teach those games to you. You will also get lists of all the games we discuss (as well as other suggested games) and local places you can find these great games. So, join us for a fun afternoon of games and learning, and never visit any lands of candy again!
This adult board game event will be held on Saturday, July 9th, starting at 2 PM in the Main Library, 1550 Oak Street, Alameda.
