How to Get a Library Card

You may apply for a library card at the Circulation Desk of any library location. Photo identification and proof of address are required for all registrations. Applicant must be present to receive library card. Children 16 years of age or under must have a parent of guardian sign the application. Children must be able to print their own first and last names. When you sign your library card, you agree to follow the library's rules and regulations. Your library card is free.

 

Identification Accepted to Obtain a New Library Card

  • Current California Driver's License or California Identification Card
  • Utility or Telephone Bill
  • Rental papers
  • Checks imprinted with Name and Current address
  • Personal letter that has been postmarked

Lost or stolen cards

To replace a lost or stolen card, a fee of $2 will be charged.
