Attention Teens: The Library Needs Your Help
Do you wish the library would do more events and programs that you’re interested in? Have you been anxiously awaiting a new book and want the library to buy it? Join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) to let the library know what you’re interested in. The Teen Advisory Board is your chance to make a difference in the library for yourself and other teens in Alameda.
All teens are invited to the next Teen Advisory Board meeting on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 5:30 PM at the Main Library on 1550 Oak Street in the Stafford Room. Members of the Teen Advisory Board will begin to plan events and projects for the upcoming 2017 year at this meeting. The TAB members will also talk about renaming the group and make a display for the teen section. Teen Advisory Board members earn community service hours for every meeting and event they participate in.
Teens, ages 13 to 18, are invited to the meeting and food will be provided. Please RSVP to Hallie Fields, Teen Librarian, at hfields@alamedca.gov.
