Alameda Free Library to Host Board Game Program

Bring a friend to the Alameda Free Library on December 4th for a board game day for adults. The Grown Up Gaming program will feature Quarto, a game where the goal is to get 4 matching pieces in a row. The game includes 16 pieces that all have at least one matching attribute to another. Sound easy? Your opponent chooses the pieces that you get to lay down and players work against each other to try and be the first one to get a completed set. Join us at the library and play this quick, easy to learn game!

The Grown Up Gaming program will be on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:30pm. It will be held in the Regina Stafford Community Room at the Main Library. The Grown Up Gaming program is for adults, ages 18+ only. Feel free to come alone and we’ll match you up with a gaming group.

The library will provide a selection of board games and participants may also bring their own games to play. Friendly competition is encouraged and all skill levels of players are invited to participate.

Please call the Main Library Reference Desk at (510) 747-7713 with any questions. The Alameda Free Library is located at 1550 Oak Street.
