The Alameda Free Library launches its new Sensory Friendly Family Film series with the film The Secret Life of Pets on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s Stafford Meeting Room at 1550 Oak Street.

The movies are family friendly and appropriate for all ages. The lights are dimmed, the volume is lowered, and individuals are welcome to move around and make noise.

Sensory Friendly Family Film is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. The Secret Life of Pets is 90 minutes long and is rated PG for some rude humor. Individuals with special dietary needs are welcome to bring their own snacks. Water only, please.
