Basic Computing Workshops
The Alameda Free Library is pleased to present our Basic Computing Workshop series in the computer lab. This event will be held at the Main Library, 1550 Oak St., from 6-7:30pm on October 17, 2018, and the Wednesday evenings following. All ages are welcome to this series.
The first of this series, Basic Computing I, to be held on October 17 from 6-7:30pm, will cover the basics of using a computer as well as an explanation of all the different working parts. No computer experience is necessary to attend this workshop, we will be focusing on the Windows 7 Operating System, but all Operating Systems welcome.
The second of this series, Microsoft Office, to be held on October 24 from 6-7:30pm, will introduce the different programs included within Microsoft Office as well as basic functioning features of Microsoft Word.
The third of this series, Google Drive, to be held on October 31 from 6-7:30pm, will be an introduction to the free tools that Google provides with a free Google account. Google account required.
